Carolyn was born and raised in New York City, where she is still based. Her theater credits include the west coast premier of Faceless (The Old Globe), A Midsummer Night's Dream (The Public Theater / Mobile Unit), Henry V (The Public Theater / Mobile Unit), and Of the Woman (Normal Ave Theater). She has helped develop new work at Playwrights Horizons, Atlantic Theater Company, The Public, Playwright’s Realm, New York Theater Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theater, Rattlestick, and The O’Neill among others. She can be seen in Titus Kaphar’s feature film Exhibiting Forgiveness. She holds a B.F.A. in acting from SUNY Purchase.
